About Us

Entrepreneurs, Builders, and Problem Solvers

AspirationalX is a collective of builders, operators, technologists, strategists, and advisors focused on creating lasting value. We work alongside founders and teams to understand where they are, where they want to go, and what capabilities will help them get there.

From technology and operations to strategy, leadership, and organizational development, we bring together the right people, tools, and expertise to solve meaningful problems.

We aim to strengthen the people, systems, and organizations behind them so they can continue to grow and create value well beyond our involvement.

A History of Leading and Connecting

AspirationalX had its beginnings in 2008 as an entrepreneurial collaborative founded by students on the campus of Missouri S&T.

With a fresh LLC and a bank account, the Interdisciplinary Design Collaborative (IDC) leveraged campus resources to execute over 100 innovative projects across various disciplines, turning some into profitable businesses.

The group continued to grow over the years alongside its founding members, who went on to run startups, consultancies, and entrepreneurial education programs. Although the structure evolved, the common threads of building and collaborating remained steady and consistent.

An Aspirational Future

In 2023, the name AspirationalX was chosen to bring the spirit and mission of IDC into the future. Our clients and team members aspire to do many things: create, build, grow, innovate, and evolve toward a brighter future. The ‘X’ in AspirationalX represents these goals and many more.
